About Heather Hawkins

Creating bespoke stationery for a friends wedding led designer and illustrator Heather Hawkins to establish her business, Hawk Creative, in late 2010. Pregnant with her first child at the time, Heather took the opportunity to combine her love of watercolour painting with illustration and design – which quickly led to her establishing an enviable list of clients.

After a childhood spent in the idyllic Batemans Bay, Heather refined her natural aptitude for painting, illustration and interest in the fashion industry with formalised studies spanning styling, business and graphic design – at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, FBI and Shillington College.

Her wide breadth and depth of skills in creative industries was realised through a range of professional roles in fashion styling, talent management and fashion wholesale, before making the move to her own consulting work.

A testament to her beautiful work and finely-honed design aesthetic, Heather’s stellar list of premium clients has included Bollinger, Paspaley, Camilla, Rebecca Vallance, Harrolds, Une Piece, L'Occitane, Forever New, Collette Dinnigan, Ole Lynggaard, Willow and Spotify.

In addition to working with a raft of coveted brands, Hawk Creative undertakes custom work for private clients to create detailed suites of stationery items for weddings, birthdays and other life milestones. She also creates hand painted textile prints for swimwear brand Une Piece.

Heather has illustrated two Children's book, ‘Lulu le Baby Chef’, written by Brisbane based food writer Katrina Meynink; and ‘Penelope's Playground’, written by Roxy Jacenko and published by Bauer Media.

Heather now channels her creative energy as the National Marketing Manager at The Agency, seamlessly blending her business acumen with creative strategy to construct and elevate the national brand.
